DIRECTIONS FOR USE

This product contains d-phenothrin. Do not apply another pest control product such as a shampoo, collar, or powder that contains d-phenothrin to the treated animal after applying this product. Do not use in food handling, storage or preparation areas while food is present. For use only on dog or puppies over 12 weeks old weighing 6 to 14 kg. Do NOT administer by mouth. Do not use on cats. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks of age. Do not use on dogs or puppies weighing less than 6 kg. Consult a veterinarian before using on sick, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals receiving drug or other pesticide treatment. RETAIN PACKAGING FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

1. Dog must be dry at time of application.
2. Remove one applicator tube from the package and hold in an upright position pointed away from your face.
3. Pull off cap. Turn the cap around and place on top of tube.
4. Simply press cap down to break the seal of the tube. Remove cap carefully.
5. Position the tip of the tube on the dog’s back between the shoulder blades. Use the tip of the tube to part the dog’s hair so that the product will be applied at skin level. Begin squeezing out the contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the dog’s back to the base of the tail. The treated area may appear wet or oily after application.
6. After application, observe carefully for any reactions to the treatment. Refer to the PRECAUTIONS section of this label for further information.

Additional Notes

1. Do not use this product more often than once per month. Treatment must only be repeated if pest problem reoccurs. Reapply every month for continual pest control in situations where there is an ongoing risk of pest infestation.
2. A veterinarian should be consulted when pest infestation continues to be a problem on the pet.
3. For effective flea and tick control, treatment of the pet should be combined with sanitation of any area used by the pet. Vacuum floors, carpets and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use) and wash the pet’s bedding, living quarters and surrounding areas. If pest problems persist, an insecticidal premise treatment may be required.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in a cool, dry place away from food and out of the reach of children. Do not reuse empty container. Wrap and dispose of empty container with household garbage.

1. Le chien doit être sec au moment de l’application.
2. Sortir un tube applicateur de l’emballage et le tenir en position verticale et orienté loin du visage.
3. Enlever le capuchon. Renverser le capuchon et le placer sur l’ouverture du tube.
4. Appuyer sur le capuchon pour briser le sceau. Enlever soigneusement le capuchon.
5. Placer le bout du tube sur le dos du chien, entre les omoplates. Séparer les poils du chien à l’aide du bout du tube afin d’appliquer le produit sur la peau. Faire sortir le contenu du tube pour former une bande partant des omoplates, allant le long du dos du chien et jusqu’au bas de la queue. La zone traitée peut paraître mouillée ou huileuse après l’application.
6. Après l’application, observer attentivement l’animal pour toute réaction au traitement. Consulter la section MISES EN GARDE sur la présente étiquette pour obtenir d’autres informations.

Remarques supplémentaires

1. Ne pas utiliser ce produit plus d’une fois par mois. Ne réutiliser ce produit qu’en présence d’un organisme nuisible. Faire une nouvelle application tous les mois pour assurer l’efficacité continue du produit lorsqu’il y a risque constant d’infestation d’organismes nuisibles.
2. Consulter un vétérinaire si l’infestation de l’animal par les puces continue à poser un problème.
3. Pour être efficace contre les puces et les tiques, le traitement de l’animal doit être combiné à la désinfection de tous les lieux utilisés par l’animal. Passer l’aspirateur sur les planchers, les tapis et les meubles (jeter le sac de l’aspirateur après usage) et laver la litière et les lieux où habite l’animal, ainsi que les lieux voisins. Si le problème de parasites persiste, un traitement insecticide des locaux pourrait se révéler nécessaire.

ENTREPOSAGE ET ÉLIMINATION : Entreposer le produit dans un endroit frais et sec, loin des aliments et hors de la portée des enfants. Ne pas réutiliser le contenant vide. Envelopper et jeter le contenant vide avec les ordures ménagères.

HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash hands, and any other skin that came into contact with the product, thoroughly with soap and water after handling or applying, and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco.

HAZARDS TO PETS: DO NOT USE ON CATS OR KITTENS. Do not use on puppies less than 12 weeks old. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals receiving drug or other pesticide treatment. Sensitivity, such as slight transitory redness of the skin at the site of application, may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. Smaller animals are more likely to experience an adverse reaction. Observe carefully. Care should be taken to prevent exposure of other pets who may be in close physical contact with the treated animal.
If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water and consult a veterinarian immediately. If swallowed or chewed, consult a veterinarian.

Side Effects: Monitor your dog after application. Side effects may include: skin irritation such as redness or scratching; changes in behaviour such as agitation or lethargy; or gastrointestinal effects such as vomiting or loss of appetite. Prendre soin d’empêcher l’exposition de l’animal traité aux autres animaux de compagnie qui peuvent être en contact direct avec celui-ci.

FIRST AID

If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration number with you when seeking medical or veterinary attention.
